He should spit out a telescope pin and a note.

The note should say this:

Ye best be sailing

To the dock...

4.Then go to the dock and fix the broken boat.

The boat should then look like this spitting out a note and a feather pin.

The note says:

Happen upon

This feather today.

May want to speak

With the birds...

5.Then go to the forest and into the rope ladder.

6.Great your almost done :) then imitate whatever the birds do into the drums. you should get a note and an old key pin plus the music maestro stamp.

You should get one last note saying this:

We gots this 

map and key,

Somebody left 'em...

Dunno who!

7.last, go to the cove and use you mining hat to dig up the large X.
